TRUE LOVE

He gazed into her eyes,
and she into his.
As they embraced, their spirits graced the skies
and their bodies experienced eternal bliss.

Her stroked her silky red hair
and her fragrant perfume caused his senses to reel.
He pulled away and studied her face, so fair
were her features she looked like porcelain, so smooth to feel.

She locked his eyes and they became a window unto his soul,
a tremble of excitement passed through her as she
anticipated the kiss. When his lips met hers a tingle stole
from her lips to her mind and she felt so free.

He gathered her in his arms in a gentle embrace
and they sat just holding each other,
neither wanting to let go lest they leave this place
where they abided now and all worries were no bother.

They both existed here for the other, nothing else did they need endure.
Both caressed each other, content to just exist.
A ray of light fell from heaven encasing both in a light so pure,
both felt the miracle of heaven caressing as neither wanted to resist.

In the heavenly light they rose,
and their souls graced heaven above,
this one action did now expose
the feeling they both felt was indeed true love.
